If you are using static IP you should set up PLC accordingly

means: Host-Name to 192.178.0.70 in your case

    Hi ebaygul,

do not change the LAN settings in PLC .... it will spawn an error 28

configure your LAN parameters on your PL console or via http://your.plc.ip.number

    http-access.jpg

Haven't looked around for much more info on the http access to PL2 I'm running, but looks to me like some parameters (e.g. comms) can be set. There is also an email trigger section, but then again, it looks NOT straight forward to configure and I'm not using it, I use PLC to send emails

Treat the LAN settings in PLC as "read only", despite the fact that mine also shows " Obtain IP automatically", I am using a static IP.

    cheers

    Jurgen

I've seen your computer's IP is 192.168.1.100, then assign to your ProfiLux 192.168.1.70 not 192.168.0.70.
Assign IP in the same range 192.168.1.xxx

does this mean that a PL3 can connect via LAN to a PC with Profilux Control but also directly to the internet? If this is the case is it possible to remote connect directly to the PL3 from any internet acces point in the world and control the PL3?
