Profilux 2 virtual Probes

I have a client that wants to create a virtual probe but is not able to unless he removes an add on card from his unit?

At the moment we can't reconstruct this scenario. What does "is not able to" mean concrete, please? Do you have more information for us?

He has a profilix 2 with 3 extra add on cards.

2 x Temp & humidity Cards
1 x Dali Cards

if he removes one of the temp cards he can then create a virtual temp probe.

he is not on the latest firmware but on firmware 5 M I think

What kind of ProfiLux II? A ProfiLux II eX?

Maybe the maximum of sensors is reached with the two double sensor cards.

what is the max number of sensors? one can have on that unit vs the others? what should he do upgrade to a 3?

Maximum count of sensors with PL2 is 8, with PL3 he can connect 32 sensors.
