Will the dali card dim a DSI ballast I need to know before I buy the dali card

I just tested it & it does not work

DSI is complete different protokoll to DALI. Therefore it can't work.
A look to google would have made this clear.

BTW: Simply connect a unknown device can damage seriously the interfaces or the ProfiLux itself!

I never said they were the same I was very aware that they are different & was in contact with the manufacture of the ballast who own the DSI protocol.

DSI was an "Early" Version digital dimming & DALI. some DALI controllers are able to control both DSI & DALI. I can confirm that the Profilux module does not.
