Default Expansion Box not communicating with Profilux IIIex

    G'day,
I have recently added an expansion box to my Profilux III. I have set the EB up via PAB and have it approx 50 metres away from the III Ex. In the EB I have also installed a new humidity / Air temp module.
The problem is I am unable to see or read anything that is plugged into the EB, with the exception of the added module (air Temp and humidity) - which is working perfectly.
I have tried temp probe, cond probe, light stick all to no avail.
I have tested all probes on the IIIex which gives correct readings, I have tried shorter network cable, and reseting both the EB and the IIIex.
During assign devices on the IIIex, the EB is visable and is selectable.
I am not sure what else to try?

If you are able to see the PLM-HumidyTemp installed in the ExpansionBox, the communication is working.
The reasons for missing the other sensors can be that the ExpansionBox isn't detected correctly.

    Try following on your ProfiLux:
    - disconnect PLC (ProfiLuxControl doesn't recognize changes in PAB sensors)
    - Select System->Configure PAB->PAB Systemreset (removes all PAB devices)
    - Reset (by unplugging the EXB from Power a short time)
    - wait for min. 5s (boot time EXB)
    - Select System->Configure PAB->Assign devices (detects EXB hardware)

If you reconnect with PLC you should see the additional pH, Temp, Cond, Redox and your HumidityTemp

Some features are available only after a update with the actual firmware of the EXB.

Thanks for the information Frank, I followed your instructions and it worked a treat.
Now if only I could get the light stick to work on the Expansion Box.......
    regards
