    Ausrufezeichen External IP adres in Profiluxcontrol

    Can someone tell me if it is possible to put an external IP adress indo the profiluxcontrol program to connect to the Profilux???

    sure it all depends on the configuration of the network and the provider. But usualy there is a modem and the use of router to enable more then one connection.

    I can connect whit a external ip whit the webbrowser, but i also want to connect whit the Profiluxcontrol 5.0.2.5 program, but there it not possible to type a ip adres , the program looks automaticly on the local netwerk

    you probably have to open port 10000 on your edge router/modem.

    This is possible, but before i open it , is still hav to find first a solition to type a ip adres into the program

    if you can already connect via the web, you dont have to change anything, just opening the port should be enough.

    10000 ?? don't you mean 10001 ( if he is using default)

    You should be able to put in an external address too, just make sure, that automatic search in lan settings is turned off.

    And: Additionally the port 10001 has to be routet to your PL via the interface of your router. Else the router doesnt know, where to route the packets regarding port 10001.

    If you don't have a static ip, you will have to get an dyndns account, too.
