Need help connecting pc to profilux 3 EX

Can someone help me. I want to connect my profilux 3 to my computer by Lan. How do i have to this? On my motherboard of the pc i have 2 connections for lan. I also have wireless internet connection. When i connect the profilux with one of the lan connections there comes a error and it says " found no profilux with lan"

Please help, i'm going nuts.

The easiest way to connect the ProfiLux to a LAN is via a switch (or a router with integrated switch). In most cases in your router is DHCP active (automatic IP settings) and you don't need to set the IP manually.
Only if the ProfiLux is connected to a DSL router you are able to use NTP, EMail, ...

If you want to connect the ProfiLux directly to a PC, you must first set up a fixed IP to the ProfiLux. Either via PLC or on the ProfiLux itself. And you have to set the IP address of the corresponding LAN connection to a proper IP.
But this isn't the common way and you need a little LAN experience.

Finally figured it out. Profilux is now connected directly to the computer and it works perfect.
