    Default Level 3 ERROR Help

    Hello,
I have a small problem and need your help

Hardware: Profilux 3ex with firmware 5.01b
    Sensors: 3 Optical level sensors

level 1 : using it for auto top of
Level 2 : using it for water change

    Everything is working ok

Now level 3 i am trying to use it to fill up my RO/DI storage tank ...
So in order to avoid TDS creep i set up the following:

Programmable logic4 : water 3 AND Timer 4Timer 4 Set to start from 2PM until 6PM only on Tuesdays

Socket in Question set to : Programmable logic 4

Level 3 Set to Auto Top Off with max on time 1 hour

Things are working ok BUT when timer gets out of creteria i have set
i get alarm from level3 after one hour ...

    Why is that?

    Cheers

    Christos

because level 3 measures your RO water level and it takes more then 1 hour for the water to toggle the level 3 switch ?

max on time means => if your sensor detects a switch action , it will wait for that time until it assumes that the condition should be resolved.

    Thank You Blahenazo,

That makes sence.... but if i set max on time to 0 then i do not have a fail safe action against the sensor level switch.... Unless i set the timer which is Programmed with the level sensor to only 1 Hour to prevent any disasters...

So once a week i get the timer to operate for 1 hour and if water level reaches the sensor it will switch off.... it the sensor fails it will shut down in 1 hour..

Is this the only way to do it??

    Cheers

    Christos
