    Default WLAN set up help

    Post moved from RC
    http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...2#post17268332

I am having difficulty getting my profilux 3 /WLAN connection set up.
Is there someone who I can speak to? I have watched the videos on you
tube and read the forums but I am unable to establish a connection. I
purchased this unit several months ago, but just recently
    attempted to set it up.

I have a verizon Fios router. Several other devices (printer, blu-ray
player) connect wirelessly to it. I disabled the WEP security setting.
    What else do I need?
    Thank you.

did you set the IP-address and SSID in your PLM-WLAN?

are they matching to the other network devices?

I got the wireless feature working after buying a gaming bridge and first getting my FIOS router to recognize it. Then I assigned the P3 an IP address. It took a day and a half and I am not sure I could do this again, but right now it is working and it is a charm.

I have the AI lights programmed. I am amazed at what this controller is doing. Thank you to the Mr. Ceretta (sp) for your wonderful instructional videos. They are helpful beyond measure. Now I have to find away to get the ATO going....

my P3 use ip static 192.168.1.145, when setting this PLM-WLAN the Ip address should use 192.168.0.70 or same as P3
and the hostname also use 192.168.0.70

i tried connected in view seconds then disconnected. please advise

As I see, you have two different sub-networks: 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.0.xxx...
It would be helpful if you post your connection settings from PLM-WLAN, ProfiLux and also router settings.

    The router 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 and P3ex use static ip 192.168.1.145 subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 DNS 8.8.8.8
then PLM-WLAN I confuse how to config. Thank you
