Simu -L light stick problem

Hi wonder if you can help
I have a problem with a full weather light stick , this is on a P3 Ex. firmware 5g. the blue and white lights run and do what is expected and appear to be on channel 1, however the red lights for sunrise/sunset refuse to operate. I think these should be on channel 2 but nothing I do makes them turn on.
The light stick is plugged into L1/L2, I have a profilux moonlight spot plugged into l3/L4 and twin T5 ballasts (osram intelligent dimmable, connected via an evg-ap-2f) on L5/L6 all the other lights operate as expected. I just can't get the red lights to come on, though they originally did when I first put the light stick on , so it is obviously something I have done when setting up via the software.

Can anyone please help?

check which illumination channel is assigned to L2, then check this illumination channel

Yes I have checked that the illumination channels in 1-10v interfaces all match.
L1 is set to 1, L2 is set to 2, L3 is set to 3, etc.

problem is now solved, it was the contacts on the lightstick plug.
I checked them after a conversation with chippypah from UR, and all seems fine now
