Default I can't connect to my expansion box?

    I just upgraded from a P2 to a P3.
I bought the expansion box as well.
I upgraded my latest firmware 5.0.1.
I cannot see my Expansion box in the system or anyplace else. I connected it with a standard ethernet cable to the PAB because I didn't receive one with my unit.
I don't have any of the PAB power bars.
Any idea why I cannot see this, and how to get this to work?

ProfiLux must "know" that there are PAB-devices

please follow these instructions (from our download site):

After the manual discover (see Mathias his reference)
you can use PLC to manage the probes etc.... , only the discovery doesn't work from the PLC just yet.

Ok so I did assign and configure. On the P3 it shows the device number. I did update the firmware on it. But I cannot see it on my PC software?

Is there instructions on this someplace?
    What is PLC?

plc => profilux control (the pc software

don't forget to 'check' into the assign device (you need to see checkmark in the little sqaured box ) step if i recall correctly.
when done you can't 'see' it in the software (like expansion cards etc...) but you can see the extra probes if you done it correctly.

Great that was it. I had to press '->' to get it checked.
    Now everything shows up.
It is so easy once you do it, but trying to understand it the first time is quite frustrating.
    Thanks for the help!
Now off to the dosing pump...
