Finally firmware 5.01!

it took longer than we thought, the firmware changes were quite an hard job

most important improvement: measurement data of Expansion Box can be logged now - more information in firmwarehistory

Firmware 5.01 and ProfiLuxControl 5.0.1.0 can be downloaded as Beta-Version now

upgrade via USB still fails. The profilux switched off the powerbars, then start to erase the flash. It seems like at this point the device time out and communication error 28 appears.

after updating to 5.01, I am unable to access webserver after username and password is entered. The following message appear
"< 0) return null; // kein Identifier gefunden StartPos += Ident.length; var EndPos = String.indexOf("&", StartPos); // Position des Delimiters if(EndPos <= 0) EndPos = String.length; // String-Länge falls kein Komma"

it seems the support of using tokens in javascript files makes trouble with some browsers

this feature has been temporary disabled until it works stable with all browsers
-> new 5.01 is available from now on (same version number, but today's date)

we solved today another issue which occured for some users with recording measurement data

5.01a is available now - if you have already 5.01 then please update to 5.01a

5.01a works for my P3 and exbox (with usb=> serial convertor).
Didn't have any problem with the webserver

I can see the ex box probes in the measured data sections. I first checked without updating plc and couldn't see them , but with the newest one it works.

ps: for me the upgrade wasnt distructive came from fw p (so probe calibration,logic, settings, etc.. where still there )
I'm happy 5 mins of work.

can I just update from 5.00 to this new firmware 5.01a and what do you mean by beta? thanks

That there are known issues,things not implemented, and bugs are possible. So as an end user you have to be aware of this.

That being said, I've been running beta since the beginning pf the P3 ( who didn't ? ) and if there are severe known issues Mathias creates a buf fix and I just update. (see issues in the beginning of this thread).
