Default Metal halides, too much or not?

So first time writing in this forum, but probably not the last

I am planning to run 2x400w metal halides on a 1meter long tank to avoid single light source shading of the corals.
But in order to avoid heat I would like to run the lamps one at the time whit 2-3 minutes of crossover.

-Will there be any problems whit the load on the digital powerbar?
-I have heard that I should only use the 4 outer sockets of the 6 on my powerbar for such high loads, is this true?

    Parts involved…

    6Chanel digital powerbar.

We got an special way to switch that high power souces. Have a look at the ExpansionSocket. The Powerbar switch the ExpansionSocket and the ExpansionSocket switches the main Power to your metal halides. So you are sure, you do not damage your Powerbar.
