Default GHL Profilux Plus III Upgrade Kit Installation Instructions

Hi, I have a Profilux Plus II Ex which is brand new and hasn't been used yet, I have just bought the PIII upgrade kit from a fellow reefer who did not use it but it didn't come with the installation instructions. Does anyone have the new PIII upgrade kit installation instructions or can direct me to where I could obtain them from.

    cheers, David.

Thank you capri, have you done this upgrade yourself too?

I have not even switched on my original Plus II EX, do I need to do anything with that before I start to do the upgrade?

Yes. You have to switch on the P2 eX and take a note of the Temp. calibration values at ADC1 and ADC2 before the upgrade.

I take from this that the Profilux units are calibrated with unique settings??
When the upgrade is complete will I be able to upgrade the firmware directly from the 'new' USB port instead of the RS232 port?

Yes they have unique settings. I have 311-682 (from the P2+) with my P3 and 308-680 with the Expansion Box.
Yes, firmware upgrade can be done with USB.
