Help Connecting to Profilux GCC via WiFi

Hi,

I have exhausted all posibilities trying to connect to my profilux 4 via WiFi in the GCC app. I have reviewed the settings and made sure I can ping the IP address of the profilux via the terminal. The IP assigend is 192.168.5.14 port 10001. The computer I'm trying to connect with is in the same network as the profilux. Mind you, the profilux is in a separate network (guest) at 2.4 Ghz than the rest of the house.

The error I'm getting when tryin to connect is the following:

"Could not connect. Do you want to check the settings now?"

I have also tried accessing the profilux via the web browser at http://192.168.5.14:10001 and doesn't work either.

I have included pictures of my settings, please review and let me know if there's something wrong as I would like to connect to the profilux 4 without having to use the USB cable.

Hello,

Several things are wrong.
You must not use the same IP addressing between the hotspot and the client mode. Please leave the hotspot in 192.168.4.1
Why is ProfiLux on the guest network of your Internet router?
It's generally not possible to communicate with a device connected to the guest network of an Internet router from the normal network, which is why a guest network is separate from the normal network.
Using 2.4ghz doesn't mean you have to use the guest network; it's perfectly possible for your normal network to be accessible via 5ghz and 2.4ghz.

HI Gaël,

I have changed the hotspot IP to 192.168.4.1 as what you mentioned above. As for the guest network, I mentioned I am using a computer under the same network 192.168.5.0
the profilux IP is 192.168.5.14 and the computer IP trying to connect to the profilux via wifi is 192.168.5.4 [these are the same network] they should communicate as when I ping 192.168.5.14 (profilux) from the computer 192.168.5.4 I can reach it. The problem is connecting the the profilux via wifi using GCC or browser.

Guest networks generally don't allow communication between clients, so using a guest network doesn't seem like the right way to go.

Ok. I will try and setup the profilux in the main network and try again. I'll let you know.

From a professional experience in IT. Having two devices in the same network as long as they can communicate with each other, shouldn't be an issue. I will follow your recommendation and test.

I have changed the seetings to the main network and NOT the guest network. The main network IP range is 192.168.0.xx

After changing the profilux 4 IP address to 192.168.0.14 and hotspot to 192.168.4.1 as suggested, I'm still having issues login in to the profilux via wifi. I was able to get to the dashboard of the web server via the browser, but when entering the username "admin" and the password set, it doesnt authenticate. See images below and let me know what else I can do to make this work.
