Firmware Update Issues - GHL Control Centre 1.1.5.1a

Hi

Please can someone provide some guidance around the below firmware upgrade issues?

I recently had to break down my tank for a house move and following the move I am in the process of upgrading the firmware on my GHL kit before setting the the tank again. 90% of the firmware upgrades have gone smoothly however the below two devices are not accepting firmware upgrades with the error "Error while transmitting firmware".

1: Stand-Alone Doser 2.2 (run as EXT)
Current Version: 1.51
Upgrade Version: 1.53

2: KH Director
Current Version: 1.00
Upgrade Version: 1.01

The above devices are managed/receiving firmware updates from Profilux 4 (Version 7.41) and GHL Control Centre 1.1.5.1a.

I have succesfully updated the firmware on an ION Director and 4 GHL dosers including another Stand-Alone doser running as EXT.

For the device 1 the Stand-Alone doser I have tried pulling the power and running the 'ONLY in case of an emergency-update: Disconnect device from power, then connect it again, thereafter click immediately OK here" without any joy. I have not tried this on the KH Director.

Do I need to run the 'GHL Doser Emergency Update' for the Stand-Alone device as per the below article? Was hoping there was another fix.

Hello,

A Doser SA in EXT (slave) mode must be updated via USB because it's still a Doser SA, it's not possible to update it via PAB.

The KHD does not need to be updated (it was also useless for the IOND) because version 1.01 only adds hardware support for the industrial version of the KHD and the IOND. (If the update were necessary, it would be indicated in the release notes on the https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/dow...-1a/#changelog page).

One of my 'Doser SA in EXT (slave) mode' updated via PAB without issue, however does this bring about another concern of it being in jeopardy in the long term?

When you note 'must be updated via USB because it's still a Doser SA' is that an update via GHL Control Centre or the GHL Doser Emergency Update for SA devices?
