P4 Update

I am trying to update my P4, I have version 7.33, I have downloaded and installed GCC version 1148, I am following the video to the letter but when I start the update it gets part way then glitches and tells me to reboot the P4.
I have an Expansion Box 1 connected with a powerbar connected to it, am I supposed to disconnect the Expansion Box from the PAB?

Hello,

Do you go to the Device manager to look at the USBVCOM port number and copy it into the box that asks for it, as shown in the instructions?
The USBVCOM port number is different from the usual COM port number.
