    Default Connection with USB

    I have Profilux IIex . I was using connection with Pc RS232 and all was ok up too time when i switch connection from RS 232 to USB .RS 232 now i use to connect with AI and i purchase GHL-Profilux USB Expansion Card.I install newest driver from website and connection is not working.
    "Could not connect.Do you want to check the settings now?"
    -I check my COM setting , is same as show in Device Manager Ports (COM & LPT) But when I scan is not finding device .
    -Baud is 9600
    -Device address is 1
    -Connection is USB
    -Timeout 5000 ms

    can you post a screenshot of the device manager and the ProfiLuxControl communication settings?
    is RS232 still working?
    version of ProfiLuxControl and firmware?

    Hi Matthias
    RS232 is not working
    profiLux Control version 4.0.8.1
    fimeware is 4.0.8
    and I can't post pictures from device manager but COM is same in two places

    Hi Matthias
    I learn something new every day.Now i know how to make screen shot .Please help me resolve this problem .I lost all connection with PC when i connect USB Expansion Card

    It seems that COM-ports are matching. Did you try it with another number (assign manually)?
    I don't understand why the RS232 stopped working when you added the PLM-USB - I can't see there any relation.

    Could you check on the device itself the communication settings? Baudrate of both interfaces (RS232 and USB-card) and the device address.

    I make changes manually and is not helping .

    Settings check is same in PC as in unit baud 9600

    under system->communication
    the first entry you see there is "device address"
