Default P4 digital temperature probe suddenly shows 0.0 C

    Hi

My GHL 4 with a digital temp probe, suddenly started to read out 0.0 degrees Celcius last week.

Is this a probe failure or an input failure?

    Kind Regards
    Morten Lindholm

    Hello Morten,

Please check your probe connection to the P4 and make sure it is connected to the correct port. You can also try disabling the sensor, saving, then re-enabling.

If the problem continues, open a support ticket and provide your device SN and sales receipt.

It is not a problem of using the correct port, the measurements went from 26 degrees to 0.0 degrees momentarily, see fig. ghl temp.jpg

So my question is still , is this a probe failure or an input port failure.

    The product is outside warranty.

How old is the temperature probe?
It may be worth replacing that first.
