    Default Measurement Cell on Overflow

I'm planning to plumb a measurement cell into my overflow. I expect the overflow to run at about 2000 gph total, but the individual pipes will probably run closer to 1000 gph. This seems like an excessive flowrate to try to run through the measurement cell.

I was thinking of running a wye off the 1 inch overflow pipe and running that through the measurement cell. After the measurement cell it would return to the overflow pipe. It would look something like this:

    |
    |
    |\
    | \
    | CELL
    | /
    |/
    |
    |

Does that seem reasonable, or is there a better way to plumb this?

    That looks good to me.

The measurement cell is best placed in a by-pass anyway.
