    Default Doser SA 2.1

Hi to the Community and to @Vinny...

I am in the fence to change my actual Doser and i am considering get the SA 2.1 but have several questions before i pull the trigger:

    1. What is needed in order to use the 4th pump as a ATO Refill? Does it uses a common input?
    2. Same question as above for the Temp Sensor?
    3. After each Dose does it have an alarm that indicates the use?

Thanks in advance for the help and as you can see i am trying to compare with the one i have know vs move to another brand.

    Hello,

    1. The SA doser already comes with the port built-in for ATO usage. The parts you would need for a 1-sensor ATO are:
    • 1x GHL Level sensor (Float or optical)
    • 1x Level sensor bracket (Matching for float or optical sensor)
    • 1x Level sensor assembly rod (for holding sensor and bracket in-place in your sump)

    2. A temperature port is also built into the SA doser. You would only need a GHL Digital Temperature probe.

    3. Charting of dosing pumps is currently reserved for the ProfiLux controller. As long as the pumps are calibrated and schedule is set correctly, it will follow the given commands. For alarm notifications, you can set the doser to notify you if one of the dosing containers run low or empty, no external sensor required.

Excellent. Thanks @Vinny for the clarifications. I thought i could use standard probes for ATO and Temp but i understand the compatibility issue.

This convince me to pull the trigger just to wait if i can catch a Holiday special. Thanks once again and we are probably going to keep in touch with this new adventure. jajjajjaj

Hi @Vinny... As stated i pulled the trigger and ordered the Doser. I am doing some reading and already downloaded the different versions, manuals and firmwares of the Control Center, Android Connect and Firmware just in case it doesn't come with the latest.

Should i update to the latest or there is other version that is more approved by the users?

    Thanks in advance.

As long as you downloaded the newest version of GCC, it will include the most current FW versions for your standalone doser.

    Hi @Vinny....

I got my new equipment and have GHL CC, Hotspot and USB connections working great.

Is there a manual where i can see how the different setting on the Dosing schedule works as i can't find it on the Manuals?

Basically i will like to understand the relation of each option (speed, flow rate, intervals, etc) that i have or what is your recommendation on the use of the pumps for ALK, Cal and KALK?

    Thanks i advance...

@Vinny, i figured it out as i found a manual in a Dropbox file on one of the forums and already configured 2 pumps and working as expected.

I have a question, i activated the Buzzer but it only get notice when the container is low. Is there a chance it can be configured to sound when the Doser is activated to dose or i have to see that only in the graphs?

If not, will this be possible on future firmware? I think it is a most as that way if i am close to the tank i can see if the dosage amount is correct.

What you think and once again. THANKS for all you help.

    Happy Thanksgiving...

Hi Vinny. Hope everything is OK.

I have 1 week with the Doser and i am already loving it so i appreciate all the help you have give me.

I am dosing ALK, Calcium and Kalk in approximate 220 ml in a 24 hours schedule and everything is working as expected. I need to clarify some doubts with your help just to understand if i should make some changes to stabilize PH at night.

    The doubts are:
    1. When users say manual dosing is to use the interval section and the max is 8 doses daily?
    2. How can i interpret or get a the graph displayed on the dose section?
    3. Is there a way i can get alarm notification of the buzzer or any other alert each time the doser activates? I need this to assure and follow-up that it is up and running when i am close to the tank.

I have attached pics for reference of the screens i am talking about. If you have any new suggestion for me please advise.

    Thanks once again my friend.

    Glad you're enjoying the doser!

On a Standalone doser, the manual dosing limit is 8 whereas on a ProfiLux that limit is increased to 24. The manual dosing option lets you specify the exact times and amounts to dose. Graphing is also a feature that is reserved for now on the ProfiLux. We will soon be releasing an update which introduces a new notification system which is linked to myGHL. With this feature, if any alarm is activated you will be notified in the form of a push notification.
