Default Connecting Doser to Pro 3.1?

    Hi

Just got a second hand setup, and trying to figure out how to run this thing.

As I understand I need to add the doser under the system settings->assign device. However nothing shows up on the list (This was possible with the powerbar).

Plugged the doser to the S1-S4 plug as shown below:

Am I'm missing something, or possible faulty cable, unit etc?

    Hi,

This doser is not showing up because it is not a PAB device. Legacy dosers are setup differently.

    1. Go to the Switch channels settings page

    2. Enable digital communication for S1-S4, save settings

    3. Click Program digital powerbar or dosing pump unit

    4. Select Numbering of dosing pump station, click NEXT

    5. Select the starting number for this dosing pump.
NOTE:If you have a powerbar already controlling sockets 1-6, set the doser to begin at socket #7

    6. Press Program now. The pump will now be assigned to switch channels (socket) 7-10.

    7. Select socket 7 and set the function to Dosing pump 1

    8. Select socket 8 and set the function to Dosing pump 2

    9. Follow the same order for pumps 3 and 4.

    10. You can now create your dosing schedules.

    Via app / myGHL

    Via GCC

I figured this one out late last night.

I followed your directions, but still have no control of the dosing pump. Currently I have nothing else connected to the Profilux, just trying to get this working.
Should the yellow LED on the doser light up once there's a connection?
Once setup per your guide, Shouldn't I be able to use the 'manual pump' mode from the GCC to run the pumps?

As first step, I just want to make sure there's a connection to the doser and I can do simple controls - afterwards, I can mess with programming/scheduling.

    UPDATE:
It seems the RJ12 cable had some corrotion at one of the plugs.
Changed the plug, and everything is working flawlessly.

Sorry, for wasting your time (although I did need the info on enabling the digital communication).

    Thanks for the help!
