Default Controlling a watson marlow peristaltic pump

I am looking at purchasing a KH director and was wondering whether its possible to control my calcium reactor feed peristaltic pump to keep my alkalinity stable.

I have a watson & marlow peristaltic pump which is controllable from 1rpm to 220 rpm in 1rpm increments, currently i increase the peristaltic pump speed as alkalinity demand increases or vica versa. The peristaltic pump has the ability to be controlled through a rs232 port with the following commands

1SPxxx Set pump speed to xxx
    1RC Reverse direction
    1SI Increase speed by 1rpm
    1RR Set clockwise direction
    1SD Reduce speed by 1rpm
    1RL Set counter-clockwise direction
1GO Start pump 1RS Show all pump information
    1ST Stop pump
1ZY Show running status of the pump. STARTed 1 or STOPped 0

    link to manual -http://www.watson-marlow.com/Documents/knowledge-hub/Manuals/gb%20-%20UK/m-323e-s-u-du-en-08.pdf

would it be possible to get the profilux to control the pump and increase or decrease the peripump through these commands inline with the alkalinity level setpoint?

    Hello,

It looks like this pump would not be compatible with the ProfiLux.
