    Default Controlling calcium reactor

    Hi,
I have set my KHD to control the Calcium reactor but I'm not sure about the settings. Can someone tell if this looks ok? My value to reach is 6.8 dKH. How should the function in "Switch cannel" be set? Inst KHD.JPG Ph kalkreaktor.JPG

    Best regards,
    Christer

    Hello Christer,

The Powerbar socket that is powering your CO2 solenoid should be set to the pH value downwards control function.

With your current KHD settings, if your test result shows a difference 1°dkH from your desired value (6.8), you are allowing the KHD to make a temporary adjustment to your current PH desired value (6.5).

    Thank you!
Do the difference have to be 1°dkH befor the adjustment take place? If the difference is 0.5°dkH, for example 6.3°dkH nothing happens?

    No it does not.
The KHD will automatically calculate the necessary adjustment for differences smaller than 1°dkH.

How this works is explained in this video:

Although the video discusses Add-on and Adaptive modes, the concept is still the same for Calcium Reactor mode.
