Default Change pump voltage based on temperature

    Hello,

I'm looking into a possibility to regulate the chiller pump speed from pinimal flow when off to full speed as soon as it starts.

The goal being to avoid to keep standing waters in the chiller.

Basically, what i'd like is for the pump to be temperature dependent with a minimum X Volts enforced no switch off.

As it's a tunze pump this will be regulated through the 1-10V

    Regards,
    Xavier

    Hello Xavier,

If the main concern is to prevent stagnant water in the chiller, why not just leave this pump running at all times?
Varying the flow speed through the chiller may also cause efficiency problems for the chiller due to lack of stable water flow.

Well this is mainly a "nice to have" and basically, reducing the pump speed will reduce the energy dumped in the water, and the heat generated, as such, lower the need for the chiller to work, and will spare some energy.

    Thanks for the answer though
