I am considering buying an AquaticLife T5HO Hybrid 4x24 watt for my cube aquarium that is 60 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm. I have the overflow in the middle. I have the GHL Mitras 6100 HW with the standard light composer installed.
Right now, I run the lamp on max output/ 180 watt but I have some shadowing from my sps corals and I also have a Tridacna Derasa clam om the bottom and I don’t think it’s getting enough light.
Therefor I want to supplement the LX 6100 with 4x24 T5 that add 100 watts of lightning. Then I will run the LX 6100 on high effiency/ 120 watt. Are this going to give me more par-value on the bottom of the aquarium ?
And which bulbs would you recommend ? I think more blue light will give the most par-value on the bottom ?
