    Hello
I am having trouble in connectting to the controller through TCP/IP. I am able to connect by USB and can see controller on my router with port 80 enable for this 196.168.2.116. I can ping to controller without any problem from all my computers...Any one knows what happen and what I miss?
    Thank you in advance...

    Default still not working

    Hello Mathias,
I tried it last night afterwork, resetting the router and the controller and still there is no connection through the controller software. However, I can still ping, http://192.168.2..... and can see status through http. YET not be able to access through the software with all newest software and firmware updated. I also tried port forwarding to 80. I tried to look for port setup in the controller, but not be able to find it...Any idea that any one can think of, please let me know...

    Thanks

    JOey

    Hi Joey

If you can ping the ProfiLux and you are able to access the web pages on the ProfiLux you LAN connection works fine.

Please look at your LAN connection settings in ProfiLux Control:
Name of connection: e.g. LAN (Name can be different, doesn't matter)
Host-Name: 196.168.2.116 (IP of your ProfiLux)
Port: 10001 (this is the port for ProfiLux Control, not for the web server)
    Search automatically: unchecked
Device address: 1 (matching to your ProfiLux address)
    Type of connection: TCP/IP
    Timeout: 5000ms

    Hi Joey

The port for ProfiLux Control is fixed at 10001.

The port 80 is the standard port for the web server. You can change the port for the web server according to your needs. This can be done in ProfiLux control system->webserver.
If you don't need to change, you should leave it at the standard value.
