    Default ph probe PH data

    hi,

When the Ph data is collected after fresh tank water is pumped into the measuring cell, I notice right before the reagent is pumped into it the PH reached its highest point and as soon as reagent releases, the PH starts dropping. Can we assume when the PH is at its highest point, right before reagent is applied is the current PH of the tank ? If so why not have the KHD automatically record this PH data ? Having PH data is another bonus. especially whithout having to buy another ph probe just to monitor PH.

    thank you for reading.

The KHDs pH-sensor never displays the actual value of the tank. After filling the measuring cell, the displayed value is close, but various factors prevent it from being completely identical.

thanks for replying. When you say it's close, is it lower or higher then the actual PH in the tank ?

    thanks.

That can be different. In any case, the measured value of the KHD pH sensor cannot be used to reliably measure the pH value of the tank.
