    Default Flow sensor 9000L/H

I have flow sensor 9000L/H installed and calibrated with 12.4 ml/p to monitor aquabee up 8000 flow rate, but it shows 2600l/h on GHL even AB pump is running full power, is it expect ? Or any setting issue ?

    Hi,

There are several factors which can cause the readings to be different.
First, the max flow ratings of the pump is at 0 feet head height.
Second, the placement of the flow sensor itself will also have an effect on the displayed values
Third, the number of elbows, tees, reducers, etc., before the flow sensor also has a significant impact on the displayed readings.

One of the biggest choke points on the 9000 sensor is the unions. The inside diameter of the 9000 sensor is 25mm. The unions are 19.75mm ID on the imperial unions. Anytime you restrict flow or narrow it like that, it reduces flow dramatically.

In a perfect world the 9000 flow sensor would have larger unions that can accept 32mm or 1” pipe. Flow would be much better and you would be able to achieve greater flow.
