You are right - I wasn't comparing apples-to-apples...

Because I forgot, with the KH and ION Directors - you also need to buy the 2 GHL pumps (3 head) at $350 each.

So in order to test Alk, Cal, and Mag you need to pay $1,700 in 4 different GHL components - or $600 and one component from Neptune - Trident.

Boy you guys better start working hard on that phosphate test (and others) - to justify that extra $1,100 (and Potassium and Sodium don't cut it)!

Most people who will buy either of these will already have the corresponding controller - but even if you add the $500 Apex control unit - the GHL is still $600 more and double the amount of components.
