New to GHL with a lightly used Profilux Plus II

Firmware version 4.04 installed on GHL Profilux Plus II;

NO software was included.

I need to download the latest and greatest. Can someone please provide links to the appropriate firmware and PC software (O/S Windows XP)? Also tell me the order to download and install.

I do it in this order:

- go to the download part.
http://www.aquariumcomputer.com/Syst.../download.html
- find the matching profiluxcontrol ( matches with your current version )
- make a backup of your configuration (if you have important configuration)
- I do a factory reset but I don't know if is needed.
- then find the firmware you want.
- upgrade the firmware with profilux control you downloaded before.
- download the profilux control that matches the new firmware
- connect and test your profilux.

ps: I think if you want to be able to use your backup you should stick to non-beta firmware (so stay away from 5.xx for the moment).
I don't know if the probe calibration data is restored or not.
