Which USB Driver Do I Need? FTDI or Prolific?

I have just purchased the profilux 3 and am wondering which driver I need? One says "only for FTDI-Chipset" and the other says "only for Prolific-chipset!"

Which one should I use?

The one you need. Easiest way is to have a look into device manger. If there is a com port with a mark, look into the seetings and you will see the manufacturer

If it´s a new, actual PL3, normally FTDI is used

If you are unsure: Install both (no problem)

Did that and I am connected! Managed to do it wirelessly through the belkin homebase
