    Hallo Ceasar
Do you use a USB to RS232 adapter? Some are causing problems. Please check the entry in the DeviceManager, and send a screenshot of the settings (COMx) of the DeviceManager, and the connection settings of the ProfiluxControl.

    Regards Pit

You can try to gradually increase the timeout. Starting at 3000 in 1000 steps up to 10000.
Do you use the original GHL cable? Error 28 is a connection error, no matter what cause

    regards Pit

I have tried with 5000, no change. Yes, it is a original GHL cable. I have tried with a different USB seriell converter, also same error (and working with my P2).
I will try later on by changing in steps of 1000, at work now.

Try a firmware update with the FlashTool. The other Profilux works on this PC.

    Hi Pit,
Talked with seller of P2 EX and he suspect there might be some connection issue due to new display have been poorly soldered. Anyway we agreed to return unit back to seller.
    Thanks for your support.
