Bugs and suggestions
Hello GHL and folks
After using some time on the GHL Control centre I found a couple of spelling errors and a couple of "bugs"
I also have a suggestion or two...
These bugs is not version specific, as they existed in the two previous versions as well.
First and foremost, when the GCC open the tip of the day text gets crippled as I click the next button
when first opened it looks like this :
Tip of the day first.jpg
And then, after clicking the next button :
Tip of the day crippled.jpg
Then there is something with the colour selections, both in the sensor setting and in the light composer
Temperature :
Sensor Color Bug - Temp.jpg
Redox:
Sensor Color Bug - Temp.jpg
Same thing with PH and probably conductivity as well.
I'll continue below, as I can only attach five pics pr. post

Sorry for the messy sequence, I suck at multitasking and having both a graphic editor open and writing in here is a mess in my ADHD brain.
Composer setup, more clutter and a little typo in the word spectrum (sprectrum) :
Composer Spell and crippeled.jpg
Then I have a suggestion to fill out the whole width for the graphic curves for the light composer:

And before even loading into the GCC, there is some clutter in the setup dialogue box:

More bugs and suggestions

When editing the light composer, I find it a bit tedious to first open and edit on time, then close and open the next, etc.
I suggest a next / previous function, also there is bit of clutter and another typo, sensitivity (sensivity) :

At the same page, I suggest a recieve illumination from the lightbars :
Transmit illumination.png
And speaking of lights, I bought a Mitras ligbar II and this is the singlemost best Buy I ever did, I can warmly recommend it for any aquarium head around the world, it really does make a big difference, plants grow so much better and everything simply look so great in this light

Sorry there was some mess with the attachments, so here I paste some more
Then there is a similar bug in the light composer, at load the colours are random, mostly dark / black and the description text I try to save in GHL control centre will disappear.
When first loaded it looks like this :
Illu. before Edit.jpg
Then, after opening the colour selector and selecting a colour, it looks like this:
Illu. after Edit.jpg
It would like to suggest making the background colour dark for the light curves window, it would make more sense:

Then there is some artefacts when loading the sensor tabs, at first load there is some options, calibration etc.
but they disappears right after the page is loaded, is this the way it's supposed to work ?
First, while loading :
PH Loading.jpg
And then after it's loaded:
PH Loaded.jpg
I am running the GHL Control centre from windows 7 64 bit, and I have tested it on both physical machines and a virtual box on Mac OS X 10.13
It might be possible that the colour artefacts have something to do with the OS's I run, but I doubt it, more likely some coding routines, IMHO.
Well, that was all for now, have a nice day and cheers, Brock

Thank you Brock for bringing this to our attention.
We will notify the team to look into these tips for the next GCC versions.
