Yes.
Right now you require the expansion box, but keeping with GHL's plan for unlimited expansion there will have to be a PLM-Level expansion card also brought to the market also at some point.

yes, this can't be changed due to compatibility reasons

Does that mean that only available option is expansion box, or there will be expansion card with one or two aditional sensor eg. lvl1/2 ?

but at the moment I have no release date for this - there is so much other work to do
