Default Dimmable Socket as regular socket

Is it possible to use the Dimmable socket as a regular socket? I have gone the configuration and made sure all sockets are set to switchable. In GCC it tells me S5 is on.. i have it setup to use Temp probe to turn heater off and on. No power is coming out of the socket or at least not enough to make my plug tester light up.

    Am I missing something?

    Hi there,

The S5 socket on a Powerbar5.1 has its own separate fuse which is rated for up to 2A.

You can use this socket for powering equipment that safely runs under the 2A max rating. Heaters will likely run above this rating and cause the fuse to blow.
    - Check the fuse. If the outlet is not powering ON despite the red light underneath the socket being ON, the fuse is probably blown.
