P4 - problem with multiple level sensors using Y splitter PL-LY

I also have the same results as the OP with the float switches.

Thanks for posting about you having the same problem JunkieHobbo. Hopefully we can get this sorted out soon!


Vinny / Matthias - attached are three images of my Level Settings, as requested. They are:

- 2 float sensors, triggered, connected directly to Purple and Green Ports (both sensors are recognised by the P4 correctly)

- the same 2 float sensors connected via PL-LY splitter to Purple Port (only 1 sensor being recognised, as sensor 1)

- the same 2 float sensors connected via PL-LY splitter to Gren Port (only 1 sensor being recognised, as sensor 3)


As previously mentioned, I get the same error no matter whether I use float sensors, optical sensors or the leak detect module.

could you please tell me the version of gcc and the firmware you use on profilux 4.

As per my original post Marc, the P4 arrived with firmware version 7.07 and I encountered the problem with the level sensors with this version. I then updated to 7.08 but the problem still occurs.

I am using GCC 1.1.0.0.

We've tested hardware and software without any problems. The users are in 2nd-level-support.
