    Default calibration problem condustivity

    hello all,

today i got mij conductivity module in combination with redox.

now i'm trying to calibrate the cond probe, everything is going fine, and calibration seems to be succeeded. Butt when i follow the manual, and keep the probe in the air it should messure 0 Us butt the profilux is showing 54 Us and its fluctuating. When i putt the probe in the tank, the profilux is showing 1999 Us
    and stays steady.

the calbration fluid i'm using is 1000Us at 20 gr C

i bought a new probe (not an ghl)

can somebody please tell met what can be wrong?

do you want to measure saltwater or freshwater?

I guess freshwater - what is displayed if the probe is held into the calibration fluid?

It can't be excluded that the probe is not working with our electronics.

    thx for the reply,

i want to measure fresh water, when i heald the probe in the calibration fluid it
shows 1999 Us. and dry its fluctuating.

I changed the calibration value in the profilux to 1000Us, or should i have to leave it the way it whas.

if you calibrated correctly and successfully you must see 0 in air and 1000uS in your fluid

if not: then the probe is defective or not compatible

    the calibration whas succesfull,
butt when i hold the probe in the air it's fluctuating between 0 Us and
34 Us . in the calibration fluid it stays steady at 1999 Us.

So the dissision is made, order the origenal probe
