Cannot find compatible GCC or firmware for Profilux 3 EX

Hi, been out of the hobby.
I have a Profilux 3 eX that is currently on firmware version 5.15
I'd like if possible to upgrade it to the newest or newer firmware to take advantage of some of the new features.
Profilux Control 5.1.7.2 is the only software I found in the downloads that was compatible with this firmware version. I didn't see any firmware files to bring it more up to date, and couldn't find a GCC version that was compatible.

Is there anywhere I can get newer firmware? Or was that the end of the line for the 3?

Firmware is part of the GCC software.

As thread says, none of the listed GCC versions on the downloads page are compatible with firmware 5.15
For example the latest version 1.0.9.6 says ProfiLux 3 & 3.1 with firmware 6.00 to 6.29
Same with the oldest 1.0.9.0 so I can't even connect with GCC

I had this same issue when I updated my Profilux.
I will see what firmware I have on my computer still.
They need to have an archive of the older GCC software so that in this case you can step your way up to current firmware.
I went thru 3 version of GCC to get my Profilux.

There have been many updates since version 5.17, but this firmware version is too old to use with GHL Control Center. You will need to first do two updates using ProfiLux Control before you can use GHL Control Center. Steps for doing that is below.

You will need to use ProfiLux Control for this FW version. This version can be found here:

Once you are connected via RS232/USB, update the P3 firmware to 6.06. Download this FW file and save it to your desktop:

During the update, when you are asked to locate the FW to load, navigate to your desktop and select the ProfiLux3_V606.mhx file on your desktop.

Once you are on v6.06, download and use this version of ProfiLux Control:

Connect to your P3 with this new ProfiLux Control and perform the update to the newest P3 firmware, version 6.29. When you are asked to locate the FW file to load, navigate to the GHL Control Center folder and locate the 6.29 firmware file in the firmware folder.

Once the update is complete, you will be able to uninstall both versions of ProfiLux Control and use GHL Control Center.

Additional remarks:

It´s also possible to do the update in one step by performing an emergency update with the newest firmware from GHL Control center
It´s hightly reccomended to note your settings and restore it afterwards by hand due the save file may not work from 5.x to 6.x
