First time connection to control center widows 7 home

Control center says loading system information! then nothing happens!

What do you expect to happen? You have to open the menu to perform any action.

I followed the instructions. I added the 6200 selected in and hit connect.

Are you able to see the USB driver is installed on your PC?

When you connect the Mitras LX to the PC via USB, you should be able to see the device listed in device manager with a COM number beside it. Do you see that in your device manager?

No I was not.

Since you are not seeing the driver, please install it manually by following the steps shown in this video:

Once the steps have been followed, you should be able to see the driver in device manager and connect to your Mitras LX.

I did it remotely will attempt connection to mitral tonight!

Installed driver. When connecting it appears to start and then the message cannot connect comes up. Firmware is from 6/2013.

The firmware version must first be updated as it is too low of a version to work with the newer version of GCC.

What is the exact FW version of your Mitras LX 6200?
