Frage Giesemann SPECTRA T5 dimm problem

    Hello,
I had bought a second-hand Giesemann SPECTRA lamp with T5 dimm ballast, the T5 was connected to my P3 via a 1-10v cable. I had set the correct L-port and Illumination channe, the T5 can be dimmed. The problem is when I set the illumination at 0% the T5 was still lighting at the minimum. It can’t be shut-off. how to solve it.

    Thanks!

Check the minimum voltage of the L-Port and reduce it if neccessary.

However, there was a discussion with a Gieseman technican here some years ago and he said that it´s not forseen to switch off the ballasts. Due that the shutoff needs a LF-ABOX or the EVG-AP-1F-HIC or EVG-AP-2F-HIC

    or change the ballasts.
This will not help. Regular ballasts don´t have a switch off function.

You could connect the ballasts to a switchable plugbar (if you have one) and switch the socket on/off at the appropriate times
