Default assambly manual for Mitras LX flex mount

I bought one of these, but i am a little unsure on how to assembly it properly, so before i do something wrong, are there any guides somewhere? I see nothing in the download section.

could any one point me in the right direction?

How should the screw be placed in the horizontally alubar?

    or like this

Is this small screw, that you tighten so it creates friction on the vertical alu bar? locking the lamp at the desired location? the screw part has to be facing down right?

I don't use these brackets but it looks like the clear acrylic plate screws to the top of the lamp and then that slides into the alu part

that much is clear to me..

I would expect at least there were a simple assembly instructions included. But i guess it dosent matter how the screw is incerted into the vertical bar.

I was facing the same problem and here are the conclusions that i made.
The nut should be facing up with the Polish side towards the pin screw. The reason for that is that when you tighten the screw it will not damage the aluminium frame. The round edges of the nut will touch the frame in a point rather than surface and when considerable ammount of force is added it could damage the frame.
As for the second question, the screw head should face towards the Mitras
But this is just an opinion

Can you install this on an established aquarium? Or do you have to have access to the back of the stand?

As long as there is enough spacing between the back of the tank and wall, yes.
