Doser2- suggestions for running 2 tanks

Hello,

I'm setting up an additional reef tank.

I currently use the Doser 2 SA and a slave unit on my present tank and it is controlled with GCC and via the iOS app. I really like it.

The tanks will be too far apart to have a slave unit pump additives to the new tank, and too long for Cat5 cables.

Can I use another Doser 2 SA with its own slave unit? If so, how can I use it in GCC. I assume I can assign a new name and I address when using the iOS app, similarly in my GHL?

Yes, you can use a second SA doser with a slave doser connected to it.

If you'll be connecting directly to its WiFi hotspot, you'll just have to change the SSID from GHL DOSER-2 to something else. The IP address will also have to be changed to something like 10.10.100.200 This is done through GCC.

If you'll be adding this second doser to your existing WiFi network, you can assign a different IP address.

Once you've done the above, you will have to create a new connection in the app and/or GCC and enter the 2nd SA doser's IP address.
