Default Combining GHL doser 1 and 2

    Dear,

How do you combine doser 1 (slave) and 2 (slave)? Since Doser 1 is not a PAB device and Doser 2 is...

    Best regards,

    Sander.

The gen 1 doser would be tied into the switching channels and outlets.

    Here's how to add a Gen 1 doser with a Doser 2:
    1. Connect only the Gen 1 to an S port at the back of the ProfiLux and note which port it is plugged into, S1-S4 or S5-S8.
    2. Go to the Switch channels and outlets page.
    3. Check the Digital powerbar connected on... box. Select the one where you have the Gen 1 Doser connected.
    4. Confirm message with "Yes" and save your settings.
    5. On the same Switch channels page, click on Program digital powerbar or dosing unit
    6. Select "Numbering of a dosing pump station"
    7. Set the numbering to start at an unused "S channel socket". For example, if you have a Powerbar using S1-S6 sockets, the dosing unit must be set to begin at 7. If you have the Gen 1 doser connected to the S5-S8 port, then the numbering would begin at S25.
    8. Follow on-screen prompts and click "Program now".
    9. If you had anything connected to the S ports before starting, reconnect it now and connect the daisy chain the doser off of one of those devices.

    Programming the Gen 1 doser:
    1. Create your dosing schedules using an available Dosing Pump #
    2. Go to the Switch channels and outlets page and select the S channel where you have the Gen 1 doser assigned.
    3. Set the function to "Dosing Pump" and select the number where you have that specific dosing program. For example, if you have the dosing schedule on Dosing pump 5, set the outlet function to "Dosing Pump 5".
    4. Save settings.

Can you still daisychain the two dosers on one S-port? If I read your story, then a gen 1 doser is actually also a PAB device? Since you can program the adresses of the doser. Thanks in advance,

    Sander.

S-ports and PAB ports are two very different interfaces. The steps above are for your Gen 1 Doser which has an S port.

You can connect additional Gen 1 dosers to the first Gen 1 Doser.
