Problem installing Software in Windows 7 64bits

Hi,

I have problem installing the software on my Windows 7 64 bits. I read in the previous thread that I had to manually delete some MFC libraries. Which on do I have to remove exactly ? Could I have a procedure to remove them please ?

I also have a AMD turion x2 chipset. And I know the other person having some issues also had a AMD chipset. Could it be the problem ?

at the moment we have no idea what's going on here

we were able to install ProfiLuxControl (is a 32 Bit Application which runs under 32 Bit OS as well as under 64 Bit OS) without any issue on all Win 7 PCs here, 64 Bit or 32 Bit or AMD or Intel or clean and fresh installation or not makes absolute no difference

we try to find the reason for this strange behaviour, when we found it out we will post here the solution

please uninstall ProfiLuxControl and check if there is a VC redistr. package - if so uninstall it, too

then install this:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
and later ProfiLuxControl again

does this solve the problem?
