    Default Measurement data format

    I've enabled the logging of measurement data for the pH and temperature sensors. I can then read the stored data to my computer. In the dialog box I select Comma as decimal marker, Semicolon as Column separator and I check the 'with units' box. When I look at the file it generated I'm a bit confused about the numbers used -- I've got no idea how to interpret them.
    The file contains this information:
    Date;Time;pH-value 1[pH];Temperature 1[°C];
    3-3-2009;22:14:00;1,3829e+006;1,4222e+006;
    3-3-2009;23:14:00;1,4615e+006;1,4943e+006;
    4-3-2009;0:14:00;1,5271e+006;1,5533e+006;
    4-3-2009;1:14:00;1,5467e+006;1,5467e+006;
    4-3-2009;2:14:00;1,5533e+006;1,5402e+006;
    4-3-2009;3:14:00;1,5467e+006;1,5533e+006;
    4-3-2009;4:14:00;1,5467e+006;1,5533e+006;
    and a few days later:
    8-3-2009;12:14:00;-15592;4068,6;
    8-3-2009;13:14:00;4068,6;1,6687e+006;
    8-3-2009;14:14:00;2,7804e+007;1,0237e+005;
    8-3-2009;15:14:00;4068,6;4068,6;
    What do these values mean? E.g. how can I calculate the actual measured pH value from a number like 1,3829e+006?

    The display graphics button in the application shows this chart:

    As you can see the data contains quite some spikes.. is that normal?

    These are no normal values.
    You should see values like 24.6 for temp and 7.77 for pH.
    Is there maybe a transmission problem?
    Firmwareversion? Softwareversion? Connected via?

    I got it working now, I updated my client software to version 4.0.5.0 (I had version 3.8 i think). The data export now shows correct values. thanks.

    did you enable the recording of the measurement values?

    Menu "Measurement data"->"Vaules to save": set the check marks

    the par file is the file where you stored all settings of your ProfiLux, this is not the correct file

    you have to save the measured values in a file, click "Read and Save" on the measurement page
