Default Profilux 3EX & Slave Doser config

    Hi,

I'm having issues configuring my doser to "dose"

I'm running a ProfiLux 3, Firmware 6.19. I'm using the GHL Control Center version 1.0.8.0

I know my dosers work; If I click the MANUAL DOSE Option the Doser PUMPS.

I have two PAB (powerbars) 1-12

    I have a 4 PUMP Doser 13-16

On Doser 13... I have it set to DOSING TIMES: Individually.
    I have a 10ml Dose set for 12:00:00am and ne for 5ml at 05:00:00am
If I change the time on the general tab to 11:59:00PM when the system clock switches to 12:00:00am the pump doesn't fire. Therefore not dosing.

Can you please help me out?

I can submit screen shots, if required.

    Thanks

Do you have the Gen1 doser or Doser 2?

Please post photos of your switch outlets and dosing pump setting page.

Please connect this doser to the S5-S8 port and program the dosing pump numbering to begin at 25.

Set socket #25 function to Dosing pump #.

For example, if you wanted to have the first dosing pump head run off of Dosing pump 1, set the function to Dosing pump 1 and set the dose schedule.

    Hi Vinny,

I forgot to mention I have two digital powerbars.

I currently have them connected to 1st PAB connected to the S1 Port and the 2nd PAB daisy chained to the 1st PAB on S1.

I know have the Doser connected to the S5 Port.

It's still not responding to the Dosing schedule.

Should I connect the PAB to the S5 Port 25-37 then have the doser to 38-42?

What if I wanted to Add a 2nd doser? Would I program it from 42 on?

Thanks for your help in this matter!

    Eric

    Hi,

Let's not confuse S ports and PAB ports.

If you have a Digital Powerbar that says 6D-PAB, then it is connected to your PAB port and if the second Digital Powerbar is also 6D-PAB, then it is daisy chained off of the 1st digital powerbar.

The S ports are for the older generation powerbars and 1st gen dosers. The numbering for devices connected to the S ports work differently than devices connected to the PAB ports.

If you have the gen 1 doser connected to the S5-S8 port, then the numbering for this doser will begin at Socket #25. Disconnect other devices connected to that S5-S8 port and connect only the doser which will be programmed. Click on Program digital powerbar or dosing unit, select the dosing pump option, and the numbering should be set to begin at 25 for this doser. Photos attached.

If you add a second Gen 1 doser, you can daisy chain it off of the first doser and program the numbering to begin at 29. If you add a GHL Doser 2, then the numbering can be set how you wish as these do not interact with the sockets unless you program it that way.

Also, make sure you've selected the days to run that dose program otherwise it will not run.
