    Ausrufezeichen Web server connection issues

    I have a Profilux 3 ex.

I use to be able to use the web server on the system, however recently I haven't been able to do this.

I can still access the stem on my phone a and on the GHL control center however the web server is not working.
Therefore I can not dial in from the internet

Can I please get some information on how to rectify this.

My port is set to 81 and it is directing it to the correct port.

when I type in the IP address while I'm in the house and connected to my internet at home I can not get to the web server on Profilux.
I use to simply type in the internal IP address and it use to take me into the login page

I did a firmware update recently and it went through with out any issues.

can you please help with this issue

let me know if you want to see any screen shots etc.

    regards

If you change the port to 81 (not neccessary at all and in general cause of problems) you have to call this port by adressing it

    http://123.123.123.123:81

Same is for the call from external: If you forward port 81 to 81 you have also to call port 81 from outside

    http://www.your_domain.ext:81

In general it´s much easier to forward an different external port to internal port 80 of the PL3.

Remark: Port 81 is not a real good idea due 81 is the HTTPS/SSL port. Better is to use an alternative http port like 8080 or 8090

    Hi Gunther

I tried this but I can not get the Profilux to respond
the connection time out and the app says that the Profilux was not responding

My port on the Profilux is now 80
I have the correct home IP address and I'm calling in the correct port (80)
    123.123.123.123:80

I can access the web server when I'm in the house no problem.

I can send you some screen shots if you want.

So there is no problem with the PL3, but a forwarding problem of your router.

For this you should consult the manual or tech support of your router,
this is nothing that can be solved by changes in the PL or the app.
