    Default help needed please mitras lightbar

    Hi,

    Just purchased a Mitras Lightbar 150.

    Connected everything up with splitter through profilux and the light comes on at 100%

    However the profilux doesn't change anything its constantly on 100%

    My serial port shows

    COM 1 SERIAL MITRAS LIGHTBAR
    COM 2 USB STANDARD

    I've tried through illuminations and MitrasLightbar but still nothing is changing

    Please help as I'm at a loss and not sure who to call as just purchased it all directly from GHL

    Hi Jon
    - Have You the template in the LightComposer loaded?
    - Have you turned on the light bar under Illumination_MitrasLightbar
    - Have all connections checked?
    - Have you started the PL once again
    - What Firmware you have on your Profilux
    - What did you Profilux

    Hi Pit, thanks for response.

    I've tried a few different templates and loaded them
    i have the check box ticked under illumination mitras lightbar
    I've double checked my connections and have them exactly as the ghl site suggests.
    I've restarted my profilux and program
    my firmware version is 6.13

    still no change

    i did try and upgrade my firmware earlier too.
    kept getting an error message whilst erasing flash was happening that said - error whilst transmitting firmware - FLASHERASE - NORESPONSE - 8

    Haven't a clue what that meant so I didn't try it again

    Which control center version you have installed
    Please use the newest Firmware and ControlCenter and test the update. Use a serial or USB Cable to update the Firmware.
    Otherwise you can do an emergency update

    Hello Jon,

    If you are using a Profilux 3, please use the serial cable.

    If you are using a Profilux 3.1, you can use either a serial cable or USB cable.

    As PIWAWT mentioned, you can also update the firmware by following the emergency update instructions.

    Hi Vinny/Pit, thanks for advice.

    I've just upgraded firmware successfully.
    I'm now running
    control centre v.1084
    firmware 6.27

    still nothing changing on the mitras lightbar though
    I've loaded a template, ticked the mitras box but nothing, really frustrating as its taken ages to update the PL.

    any more advise?

    is there a phone number/email address for GHL?

    somethings definitely wrong somewhere.

    Theres no technical support at hand for GHL which is a real pain when you spend this kind of money on their equipment.
