The PAB cable is a standard straight through shielded network cable with RJ45 ends.

but the profilux and pab connection has different sizes? cable inlet seems smaller on the pab than the profilux

PAB connections are all RJ45 connectors, as listed above you can use RJ45 cables.

Are you sure you are not looking at an older non PAB powerbar, these have a different sized connector?

what's the difference from pab and none pab powerbars? i thought all profilux powerbars were just called pab?

That is not a PAB powerbar. If you look at the label, it lists the older model (no PAB in the name) .

This one connects to the S port on your controller with an appropriate cable "VSL" cable not "PAB"
It is the older style of powerbar. Other than being limited in the number of powerbars that can be attached to the controller and that it does not measure the current of the attached load, its very similar in operation to the PAB model.
You need to follow the instruction in the manual for setting S1-S4 or S5-S8 to digital and then connect the powerbar.
