Profilux 3 ex burnt transistor
Dear Sirs,
I'm sorry to contact you through this way but I'm in a tricky situation. I try to contact info ghl email but apparently the person in charge is on vacation so I try through the forum to seek some help.
I own a Profilux 3xe upgraded from a Profilux 2 by GHL.
Today during dinner time I notice a small noise and my hole reef system had stopped momentarily for 2 minutes more or less and a burn smell come from computer. Amazing is that computer still working so far.
I open the box and found one "transistor" with signs of burn and all surrounding area very hot (see attachment Binder1.pdf.
Like I said everything is still working but I'm afraid of computer integrity (risk of fire) I work out of country and my hole system is supported by Profilux.
Can you help me on this situation? I know equipment is out of warranty by now but I prefer to pay than loose everything.
